From the Distant Origin Episode of Star Trek Voyager this "deep dive" into the Voth Research Vessel is a unique look at one of the most unique episodes in Trek lore.  The Voth Research Vessel is used by a runaway Voth who believes his people originated on Earth long before humanoids evolved.  This episode changed science fiction as Janeway and crew , ok mostly Chakotay, seek to change the mind of the Voth.  In classic Trek fashion there is "hidden" social commentary when the Voth council argues against the clear research evidence which shows the Voth are from the Alpha Quadrant.
