It won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. It broke Netflix's all-time streaming record. And if you are anything like me, it was somethign different than you'd seen before. KPop Demon Hunters hit differently a year in, I am still not over it. If you've seen our "about us" page I've got the photo of me posing in the Rumi Funko Pop! box (full human size) at NY Toy Fair back in Janaury of this year, so I couldn't wait to get these in.

These Funko Pops are not just merchandise. They are little statues of the moments that changed the movie for you. Let me walk you through the ones we have at Keenga, one scene at a time. With that in mind I thought I'd share my #1 memory from each KPOP character that Funko felt fit to give the Pop! Vinyl Treatment:
⭐ Rumi - The Improvised Truth
When Gwi-Ma's trance had Mira and Zoey frozen and the Idol Awards stage was falling apart, Rumi walked up to the mic alone with nothing but her voice and the truth she had spent her whole life hiding. That improvised song about her half-demon heritage - raw, unscripted, terrified - is the moment this film earned its Oscar. She comes in two looks: the fighter ready for a bathhouse brawl, and the performer on the stage where she changed everything. Plus, for collectors, there is a Chase GITD variant that deserves a spotlight of its own.
⚽ Mira - The Black Sheep's Dance
During "Golden," Mira danced out the thing she had never said out loud - that being the family's black sheep had cost her something real. Her section of that song carries the weight of it in every single movement. It is why "Golden" won the Oscar and not just the streaming charts. Both of her Pops give you a different side: the hunter mid-fight, and the performer mid-truth.
⚽ Zoey - The Maknae's Verse
Zoey is the youngest member of HUNTR/X and somehow the most fearless. Her verse in "Golden" - rapid-fire, unfiltered, every feeling of being misunderstood laid out without a safety net - is a piece of writing that will stick with me for a long time. She earns her place on any shelf twice over: once as the hunter, once as the performer who showed the world exactly who she is.
⚽ Jinu - The Turn
Jinu running down the hallway giggling after siccing water demons on HUNTR/X - that "hehehehe" launched a thousand memes and I am not complaining. But his moment is the sacrifice. When Gwi-Ma moved to destroy Rumi, Jinu gave his restored soul to shield her, pouring everything he had into HUNTR/X's final stand. That is the scene that turned him from villain to someone you genuinely root for.
⭐ Bobby - Loving the Energy
Ken Jeong as Bobby is perfect casting and nothing will convince me otherwise. The moment he finds out his clients are actual demon hunters and responds with "That's my girls! Not sure about this whole demon thing - but loving the energy!" is the most Bobby possible reaction. It is also exactly how I feel when a Funko shipment arrives. This Pop is him at peak hype manager and I needed it on a shelf.
⚽ Derpy and Sussie - The Flowerpot Saga
Derpy the tiger had one job: do not knock over the flowerpot on Rumi's patio. He knocked it over. Then he tried to fix it with his paw. He knocked it over again. Sussie - the six-eyed supernatural magpie wearing that stolen gat hat - watched the whole thing and judged. The most rewatched bit in the entire film. The GITD version of this Pop glows in the dark, and yes, Sussie is wearing the hat. It is perfect.
